Job Title: Claim Specialist
About the RoleDowntown Recruitment is seeking a skilled Claim Specialist to join our client's established team in Aylesbury. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for reviewing and assessing submitted work from our client's network of specialists.
You will work closely with local suppliers and clients to ensure property is returned to its pre-loss condition as quickly as possible. Your primary objectives will include building relationships with suppliers, ensuring communication between stakeholders, validating costs and claim coverage, and reconciling work carried out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building strong relationships with suppliers
- Effective communication with key stakeholders
- Validation of costs and claim coverage
- Final reconciliation of work carried out
- Ensuring service levels are adhered to
- Applying client philosophies to work schedules
To succeed in this role, you will require strong negotiation skills, a talent for connecting with people, and the ability to prioritise and manage your workload effectively.
A background in validating claims, insurance experience, or experience in the drying industry is beneficial but not essential. You must possess a natural attention to detail and an ability to problem solve effectively.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm, with a one-hour lunch break.
Salary: £22,500 - £25,000 (dependent on experience), plus a bonus scheme.
