Established in the heart of Midlothian, Carr Gomm is a reputable organisation providing comprehensive support services to adults residing in their local communities.
We are currently seeking highly motivated Support Practitioner Advocates to join our esteemed team in delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in empowering individuals with Autism, Dementia, Neurological Conditions, and Mental Health needs, ensuring they receive tailored support that meets their unique requirements.
Ambitious individuals without prior experience are encouraged to apply, as we offer extensive training and development opportunities to help them excel in this rewarding role.
To succeed as a Support Practitioner Advocate, you must possess essential skills such as empathy, respect, and honesty. A compassionate approach is crucial in fostering meaningful relationships with service users and their families.
Key responsibilities include assisting individuals with daily living tasks, planning for their future, and preventing social isolation. You will also contribute to creating a supportive environment that encourages independence and promotes overall well-being.
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range of £24,000 - £25,000 per annum (pro rata), depending on your qualifications and experience. We also offer an attractive benefits package, including:
- 35 days' holiday per year, increasing to 40 days with length of service
