We are looking for a talented and experienced Children's Social Work Team Manager to join our team in Truro. This exciting opportunity will see you take on a leadership role within our Multi Agency Referral Unit, driving improvements in the welfare, safety, and outcomes of children and young people.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams, with a strong focus on child protection and safeguarding. You will be responsible for ensuring that our team delivers timely, effective, and proportionate responses to requests for social work support.

  • A thorough understanding of child development theory and its application in practice is essential.
  • Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders, are vital.
  • Working effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands is critical.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders is essential.

Requirements:

  1. 5 years written references with gaps confirmed.
  2. Enhanced DBS.
  3. Proof of qualification or additional training.
  4. Social Work England registration number.
  5. 3 years post-qualifying experience.

Package Details:

  • 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • £34.13 per hour PAYE.
  • Weekly or fortnightly payments.
