We are seeking a highly skilled Social Work Team Manager to lead our Children's service in Truro. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving welfare, safety, and outcomes for children and young people, developing close working relationships with professionals, and making timely responses to safeguarding concerns.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage complex cases involving child protection and care
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including parents, carers, and other professionals
- Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping and reporting
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make recommendations for improvement
- Participate in staff development and training to enhance professional practice
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Recent managerial experience in Children's Services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
**Salary Estimate:** £52,100 per annum
