Care Specialist Nurse

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative individual to take on the role of Specialist Nurse for Children and Young People in Care in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
The successful candidate will be part of the Community Child Health Department at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust, working closely with the Named Nurse CIC and the Children in Care Specialist Health Team.
Main Responsibilities:
- To identify the health needs of children looked after and work collaboratively with the team to meet these needs.
- To develop training and experiential learning opportunities to enhance skills as a specialist Community Public Health Practitioner.
About the Role:
This position is based within the Community Child Health Department in Truro, providing a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
Key Requirements:
- NMC registration as RGN or RSCN or RMN with HV or Specialist Community Public Health Nurse qualification.
- Evidence of ongoing dynamic professional development within the specialty.
Salary and Benefits:
£35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus flexible working arrangements and opportunities for career development.
