As a Senior Social Care Professional, you will embody the spirit of teamwork and innovation, leading the Child Protection Team towards excellence. Regular reflective supervision and an enriching training program will help you refine your expertise, equipping you to effectively navigate complex child protection situations and investigations.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Cultivate Child in Need (CIN), child protection, and child in care visits.
- Guide key meetings, including CIN, Core Groups, and Placement Planning.
- Support colleagues through reflective supervision, mentorship, and collaboration.
This role allows for manageable caseloads, enabling you to focus on frontline work and produce impressive results for children and families. Moreover, you will benefit from the Local Authority's renowned training program, ensuring your skills stay cutting-edge to tackle intricate child protection issues and investigations.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in social work and registration with Social Work England.
- Considerable experience in frontline statutory children's services.
