We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished Social Work Team Manager to spearhead our efforts in Truro. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving excellence in child protection and safeguarding practices within our Multi Agency Referral Unit.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of child development theory and its practical application, as well as a proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that our team delivers timely, effective, and proportionate responses to requests for social work support.

  • A strong grasp of assessment and intervention frameworks is essential for this role.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Working effectively in a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands is critical.
  • The ability to collaborate with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to achieve shared goals is essential.

Key Facts:

  • 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • £34.13 per hour PAYE.
  • Weekly or fortnightly payments.
