Rail Industry Commercial Manager

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Commercial Manager/ Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Stratford. This key role requires strong commercial skills and a deep understanding of the rail industry.
Responsibilities- Project Financial Management: Ensure the financial performance of projects is accurately managed, and cost advice is provided effectively.
- Cost Control and Risk Management: Implement effective cost control measures and identify potential risks to ensure project success.
- Contract Management: Review and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Tender and Procurement Process: Oversee the preparation of tender documents and procurement processes.
- Team Support: Provide guidance and support to your team to ensure excellent collaboration.
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying within the Rail industry.
- Commercial Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial management, contract administration, and risk assessment principles.
- Communication and Negotiation: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Pressure Handling and Time Management: Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Software Familiarity: Familiarity with relevant software tools.
- Salary and Benefits: A salary in the range of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus flexible working arrangements.
