Commercial Manager Rail (Pre-Contracts)

Salary: Up to £100,000 + benefits
Location: London
Region: London

We are looking for a Commercial Director Rail Industry who will lead our pre contracts team and implement a new commercial strategy to the rail business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in main contractor major projects and experience in commercially influencing Design, identifying risk and opportunity.

This role would suit a candidate with a degree in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management or similar, MRICS Chartered qualification highly desirable. The successful candidate will have diverse contract experience including NEC all options, NR, Bespoke etc., and a proven track record of strong commercial influence.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management or similar
  • MRICS Chartered – highly desirable but not essential
  • Main contractor experience, with a strong background delivering rail based projects
  • Diverse Contract experience (NEC all options, NR, Bespoke etc.)
  • Strong character and proven track record of strong commercial influence

The ideal candidate will be able to build relationships with high profile clients such as TFL, Network Rail, Crossrail and HS2.
