About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Secretary to join our Community Mental Health Team. As a key member of the team, you will provide comprehensive secretarial support to the admin team, associate specialists, and other allied health professionals.

Main Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders through day-to-day correspondence and telephone calls. Prioritize your work efficiently and effectively, highlighting any issues to the team.

Take accurate notes and minutes at meetings, and process mental health referrals. Book appointments and cover reception during sickness and annual leave.

Requirements

  • Level III Word Processing or Typing qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Previous secretarial/administrative experience, with a focus on customer care.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work within a team.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages and experience of setting up and maintaining office systems.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience of working within the NHS.
