Job Overview

As a key member of the Area Camden team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager in delivering exceptional care and services to young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager in all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the residential care facility.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet the unique needs of each young person.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure a safe and supportive living environment.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support to the team and young people.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a residential care setting, preferably in a deputy manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of care principles and practices, including safeguarding and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
