About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Area Camden. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of our residential care service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Registered Manager in the management of the service, including staff supervision and performance management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and service delivery.
  • Work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth running of the service, including managing budgets and resources.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care and support.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure the service is meeting the needs of young people and their families.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in social care or a related field.
  • Significant experience in a residential care setting, preferably in a management role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and support to young people.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
