We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Area Camden. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of our residential care service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Manager in the management of the service, including staff supervision and performance management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and policies.
- Ensure the highest standards of care and service are maintained, meeting the needs of young people and their families.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve service goals and objectives.
- Participate in on-call duties and be available to provide support and guidance to staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience in a residential care setting, preferably with young people.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with young people, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and be available for on-call duties.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, including the Children Act and the Care Act.
