Logistics Coordinator

At beBee Professionals, we are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to oversee the timely and safe delivery of goods to customers in Dunfermline, United Kingdom. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods, maintaining excellent service, and adhering to delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the delivery of goods to customers across various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled carefully and efficiently.
- Develop and implement effective delivery routes and time schedules to meet customer needs.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working condition, ensuring it is properly serviced and maintained.
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Complete delivery records and paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher).
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and customer service abilities, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
- Ability to handle and lift heavy items, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet customer needs.
