Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Executive Compensation Strategist to join our team at Entain. This is a unique opportunity to work with a global leader in the sports betting and gaming sector.

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum

Job Description

This role involves drafting the Directors' Remuneration Report and liaising with external advisors to ensure compliance and continual improvement in remuneration reporting. You will also be responsible for collating data for inclusion in the report, including calculation of the CEO pay ratio, and obtaining sign-off from auditors.

In addition, you will prepare papers for the Remuneration Committee across all aspects of the executive remuneration cycle, obtaining input and approval from internal stakeholders and external advisors. Your high-quality service will support great decision-making.

You will establish a reporting framework and process to provide regular updates and information to the Remuneration Committee on remuneration practices in the wider workforce.

As the trusted advisor and in-house expert on executive reward and governance, you will work with HR Directors and reward team colleagues to develop appropriate packages for senior hires and advise on senior exits.

You will manage all Company Share Schemes and platforms, including the Group's executive share plans and all-employee share plans.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need extensive knowledge of the UK corporate governance environment, investor body guidelines, and Corporate Governance Code. You should have great attention to detail, strong planning, and project management skills.

A commercially aware individual with the ability to think strategically, operationally, and pragmatically is essential. You should be an excellent written and verbal communicator, able to adjust your style to audience and demonstrate gravitas and credibility.

Strong influencing and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate a global, matrix organisation, are also required. Good working knowledge of Excel is necessary.
