**Job Opportunity for a Cleanroom Specialist**

The Cavendish Laboratory at the University of Cambridge is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleanroom Specialist to join our Nanofabrication Facility team.

**Responsibilities**

  • Provide operational leadership for the ISO 5 - ISO 7 Inorganic Cleanroom areas.
  • Deliver day-to-day support, training and guidance for users and lead the facility's technical teams in the operation and maintenance of specialist fabrication tools and associated infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure operational readiness of the facility.
  • Act as the primary contact for all users of the inorganic cleanroom, responding to queries and ensuring timely replies.
  • Conduct health and safety checks and provide training to new users.
  • Oversee the repair and maintenance of cleanroom equipment.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience in the operational management of a multi-user cleanroom environment for inorganic semiconductor devices.
  • Detailed knowledge of tools, process steps, and health and safety considerations involved in inorganic semiconductor device fabrication.
  • Ability to train new users in a cleanroom environment.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of repairing standard cleanroom tools.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
