Job Title: Senior Inorganic Chemist Team Leader

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Inorganic Chemist Team Leader to join our team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of chemists and ensuring the generation of accurate and timely data in line with client expectations and UKAS standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise staff to ensure the generation of accurate and timely data
  • Maintenance of the Client Quality Management System
  • Assistance in maintenance programmes for analytical instrumentation
  • Working knowledge of ICP-OES / ICP-MS and/or flow injection instrumentation
  • People management and performance management of staff

Requirements:

  • Will hold a Degree/ HNC or equivalent in a Science based subject
  • Significant experience using ICP-MS/ ICP-OES essential
  • Experience in troubleshooting and method development/validation desirable
