Russell Taylor Group Ltd is a global testing company seeking an experienced Senior Chemistry and Analytics Manager to lead our Inorganic / ICP MS Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: As the leader of our Inorganic / ICP MS Team, you will oversee a group of highly skilled chemists, ensuring they have the tools and resources necessary to excel in their roles.
  • Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control procedures that ensure our results are accurate and reliable, meeting or exceeding industry standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, leveraging your analytical expertise to inform strategic decisions.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and areas for improvement, informing business decisions that drive revenue growth.
  • Training and Development: Oversee the training and development of team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles.
  • Budget Management: Manage budget and resources effectively, prioritizing initiatives that drive business growth and maximize returns.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining a strong understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
  • Innovation and Excellence: Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team, encouraging creativity and experimentation while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in chemistry, project management, and team leadership. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package, including a company pension, life assurance, employee assistance program, and attendance bonus. We estimate the salary for this role to be around £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters or Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role within a laboratory or analytical setting
  • Strong background in project management and team leadership
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
