**Company Overview**

The Royal Society of Chemistry is a leading not-for-profit organisation in the chemical sciences community, dedicated to advancing knowledge and promoting innovation.

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our team on a 1-year Fixed Term Contract to support a key system upgrade project.

This role involves collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and our third-party implementation partner to ensure the successful upgrade of an existing system to its latest version.

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will conduct in-depth analysis of current business processes and identify areas where process reengineering is required.

You will work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, develop solutions, and implement changes to improve business efficiency.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications**

  • Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, particularly in system upgrade or migration projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business problems, analyse data, and provide practical solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess business processes and identify areas for improvement.

**Benefits**

  • A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

**Location**

This role is based in Cambridge, with opportunities to work from other UK locations. You will be expected to attend our Cambridge office once a month.
