Job Description:
  • Operate a new leaching process, including sample intake, material tracking, and equipment maintenance.
  • Operate filtration equipment, with full training provided.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize safety and efficiency in working practices.
  • Input data from processes into shared documents for tracking.
  • Provide support across departments as needed.
  • Uphold health and safety standards.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new processes.
  • Write standard operating procedures.
  • Support lab staff with tasks including sample collection and maintaining a safe lab environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A background in chemistry (ideally a Chemistry-based degree).
  • Experience within a Process Chemist role or as a Process Operator within the chemicals industry.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to support colleagues.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Full right to work in the UK – a visa sponsorship is not offered.

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum.
