About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technology Architect to join our team in Leuven, Belgium. As a Test Chip Architect, you will play a key role in designing relevant demonstrators for technology pathfinding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design test chip demonstrators that allow assessing imec advanced technologies
  • Define and strategize test chips for technology assessment
  • Specify relevant test structures and develop measurement and characterization strategies
  • Plan tape-outs and ensure necessary qualifications
About You

You have a Master degree in Electronics with at least 5 years of experience in circuit design. Your background should include mixed-signal or digital circuit design and bringing your designs to hardware. Familiarity with circuit design tools, such as Virtuoso IC design, Hspice, and Calibre DRC/LVS, is essential.

Requirements
  • Mixed-signal or digital circuit design background
  • Experience in leading tape-outs and designing circuit demonstrators
  • Familiarity with emerging memories and their characteristics
  • Knowledge of measurement equipment and its limitations
  • Experience with PCB, demo board design, or FPGA programming is a plus
