Exciting Opportunity for Senior Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Scientist to join our team at the Cambridge Cellular Therapy Laboratory (CCTL). As a Senior Scientist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing cutting-edge cellular therapies, working closely with a team of world-class experts.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Cell Therapy, Manufacturing, Pharmacy, Haematology with Transfusion, Immunology, or Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics, and will have experience in leading and supervising junior staff. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing operations within the Liquid Nitrogen facility and working in a cleanroom environment, handling human blood and tissues with unwavering commitment to safety protocols.

As a Senior Scientist at CCTL, you will be part of a mission to deliver transformative therapies that impact lives. You will have the opportunity to engage with advanced therapies and GMOs, including CAR-T cell provision, and will be involved in life-changing treatments within an expanding regional facility.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of Quality Regulations in relation to processing of cells and tissue for human application (HTA/MHRA/JACIE), as well as experience of pre-inspection audits or HTA/MHRA/JACIE inspection preparation and outcome management. You will also need to be fully computer literate and have knowledge of COSHH and Risk Assessment procedures.
