Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Blood Collection Specialist to join our team at Oxford Hospital. This is a part-time opportunity, working on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

Salary & Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive hourly rate of up to £14 per hour, depending on skills and experience. In addition, you will be entitled to benefits including holiday in line with the working time directive, access to our pension scheme, and discounted gym membership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Taking venous bloods safely from patients on the wards and outpatient departments
  • Ensuring high-quality samples using aseptic techniques and minimizing pain and discomfort to patients
  • Checking patient identity, adhering to special instructions, and obtaining consent before proceeding
  • Providing excellent support to our clinical team
Requirements
  • At least six months phlebotomy experience
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to excellent customer service
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment
