About this Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional teacher to join our team at Connex Education and provide one-to-one support to a student with autism and complex needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working with students with special needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality education and support to the student, using a tailored approach to meet their individual needs.
  • Work closely with the student's parents and other professionals to develop and implement effective learning strategies, including regular progress updates and goal setting.
  • Identify areas of improvement and develop targeted interventions to promote academic achievement and independence.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years' experience working with students with autism and complex needs.
  • Enhanced DBS check and ability to undergo further checks as required, ensuring a safe and secure learning environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
