Job Overview

Bid Solutions is a leading business law firm in London, offering a unique opportunity for a Bid Manager to join our team. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a critical role in winning and retaining major mandates for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisation skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality bids under pressure. You will also be an effective communicator, able to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To own the entire bids process, from qualification to submission and follow-up
  • To facilitate scoping/kick-off calls and run all aspects of bid response, including planning, structure, format, content, messaging, proofing, submission, and feedback
  • To provide project management/document control for all areas of the bid
  • To provide coaching/guidance to fee earners on client engagement throughout the bid lifecycle
  • To work with lead partners, BD colleagues, and the client relationship team to develop an appropriate response strategy and ensure a bespoke solution
  • To engage/matrix manage all contributing functions, including pricing, compliance, business development, and knowledge
  • To update bid systems for bid reporting and enhancing future content
  • To embed best practice throughout the bid process and provide training/ad-hoc coaching to business development colleagues on bid management skills

What We Offer: A competitive salary of approximately £70,000 per annum, plus benefits.
