London, Greater London, United Kingdom Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Position Overview

The Senior Clinical Nurse Practitioner is a highly skilled registered nurse with advanced expertise in evaluating and managing patient care while overseeing the clinical setting in collaboration with the management and specialist teams. This role requires the nurse to operate independently, making comprehensive clinical judgments and intricate management strategies in the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of patients. Together with senior nursing and consulting personnel, the post holder will contribute to the formulation of clinical protocols for all facets of clinical practice within the specialty.

Main Responsibilities

An exceptional opportunity exists within the Rapid Diagnosis Centre (RDC) for a seasoned nurse with advanced clinical skills to become a vital member of the Advanced Nurse Practitioner team.

The incumbent will assume significant responsibility for patients presenting with ambiguous non-specific symptoms and will be an integral and respected member of the RDC team.

The ideal candidate will possess enthusiasm and experience, thriving in patient interactions and collaborating within a multidisciplinary framework to ensure the delivery of superior service. The successful applicant must exhibit outstanding communication abilities, adaptability, and dependability, coupled with an organized approach to their responsibilities.
