**Job Overview:** Teaching Assistant for Pupils with SEN
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Selby.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized support to pupils with SEN diagnoses, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with pupils who require additional support in addition to the role around this one pupil as needed
- Developing and implementing personalized learning plans to meet the needs of each pupil
- Providing emotional reassurance and support to help pupils feel settled and secure in the classroom environment
Requirements:
- Degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working with children with SEN diagnoses
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
