Job Title: Airline Sales Leader

The Airline Sales Leader will be responsible for defining and executing a business development plan for Sabre Airline IT products within the assigned territory in EMEA.

This includes operating in a pursuit leadership function to guide a team of solution managers, account managers, project and delivery experts to qualify leads, define appropriate solutions, manage internal financial approval processes and proposal generation in a disciplined manner.

About the Role:

  • Lead complex portfolio pursuits from start to contract execution, owning all pursuit activities including identifying solutions, providing commercials, running negotiations, and finalizing agreements.
  • Sell Sabre's technology and data-driven solutions that help airlines grow their businesses and transform the traveler experience.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of airline business and market challenges, articulating company capabilities to address such challenges to progress opportunities that support the airline's strategic direction.
  • Coordinate with various functions within the airline to acquire a good understanding of customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Build, develop, and maintain positive strategic relationships with airline stakeholders across all levels, including C-Level.
  • Obtain internal alignment on all pursuits, including solution management, delivery, marketing, finance, legal, and executive leadership team.
  • Support the account team to continuously drive growth through customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of driving successful outcomes.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/activities simultaneously.
  • Intimate knowledge of the airline industry is a real plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales and account management preferred.
  • Experience in selling technology solutions; software and consulting.
  • A thorough understanding of the sales cycle, from opportunity identification through to winning.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization.
  • Advanced computer software skills.
  • Demonstrates these characteristics: Intellectual, Positive, Passionate, Engaging, Teamwork, Good work ethic.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to handle multiple opportunities is essential.
  • Travel 50%.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
