About the Role



We are seeking an experienced Registered Care Service Manager to join our team in Kingston.



This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to lead and direct the day-to-day operational management of one of our care homes, ensuring that available resources are used effectively to provide a high-quality service to our residents.



The successful candidate will have the ability to keep calm under pressure, confidence to work alone and as part of a team, excellent communication skills, and a passion to work with vulnerable adults.



Key Responsibilities




  • Lead and direct the day-to-day operational management of the home, ensuring effective resource allocation and provision of a good quality service.
  • Ensure regular supervision of staff in accordance with company policy.
  • Work closely with the Service Development Team to select and assess potential new residents.
  • Develop dynamic support plans that involve residents, meet their needs and aspirations, and are reviewed regularly.
  • Ensure statutory compliance and adherence to National Minimum Standards.
  • Maintain a safe environment that promotes personal development and meets practical, physical, and emotional needs.
  • Lead risk analysis and implement plans to minimize risk where necessary.
  • Support the health and well-being of residents and maintain accurate records.
  • Liaise with external agencies professionally and assist with recruitment and staffing strategies.
  • Contribute to budget formulation and monitor expenditure as required.
  • Ensure proper record-keeping and administrative systems are in place.
  • Manage petty cash and valuables belonging to residents.
  • Participate in on-call management and ensure good Health & Safety practice.
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Foster good communication networks within the home and upwards through the management structure.
  • Support disciplinary and grievance processes as required.
  • Review and revise company policies and procedures as needed.
