Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic individual to join our team as a Waking Night Support Worker in Cambridgeshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and emotional support during the night.
  • Assist with personal care tasks with empathy and sensitivity.
  • Monitor well-being throughout the night and respond to any issues or emergencies.
  • Maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Administer medications as prescribed, following proper protocols.
  • Provide updates and exchange information with other team members to ensure continuity of support.

Requirements:

  • A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to support others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Previous experience in support work is desirable but not essential.
  • Availability to work waking night shifts is required, with flexibility to work daytime shifts during the training and induction period.
  • Willingness to work across two or three different locations in Cambridgeshire in the future.
