Job Title: YouTube Channel Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage the day-to-day operations of our leading science education YouTube channels, Veritasium and Astrum. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the YouTube platform and algorithm, as well as experience in managing channels with high monthly views.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the upload and publication of content, ensuring adherence to YouTube's best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-post and re-version content for other platforms.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize content performance and grow the channels' audience.
  • Collaborate with the production team to deliver high-quality productions.
  • Monitor and analyze YouTube analytics to inform strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to present channel activities and performance.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in YouTube channel management.
  • Deep knowledge of the YouTube platform and algorithm.
  • Experience working with brands or publishers specializing in learning and education.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
