About the Role

The Audience & Network Team at WildBrain is seeking a skilled Channel Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of several YouTube channels. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow our YouTube channels, leveraging your expertise in content, promotional, and partnership activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Channel Development: Create and program YouTube channels, ensuring they adhere to YouTube best practices and meet our brand standards.
  • Analytics and Insights: Conduct viewership analysis using multiple analytic tools, providing actionable insights to inform programming, marketing, and investment decisions.
  • Content Optimization: Optimize titles, descriptions, and metadata to improve channel visibility and engagement.
  • Video Production: Design and create bespoke video thumbnails, write and edit metadata and copy for videos and channels.
  • Reporting and Updates: Provide regular updates and reports on channel growth to partners and stakeholders.
  • Platform Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with YouTube platform developments, trends, and training to ensure our channels remain competitive.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Premiere) and familiarity with the YouTube platform.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organization, prioritization, and ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical approach, good communication skills, and ability to provide regular updates and reports.
  • Creativity and Motivation: Creativity, a sense of curiosity, and a motivated attitude with a strong desire to learn, grow, and succeed.
