About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Channel Manager to join our team at Hasbro. As a Channel Manager, you will be responsible for the operation and growth of several high-profile YouTube channels, representing key priority brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy and Programming
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content programming strategy for YouTube channels, across multiple territories, that closely aligns with both brand and audience needs.
- Ensure high-quality video content and artwork align with brand strategies to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Advanced Tool Utilization
- Leverage advanced YouTube tools and emerging platform features to drive innovation and channel growth.
- Data-Driven Decision Making
- Utilize YouTube Analytics, Dashboards, and third-party tools to monitor, analyze, and improve content performance, making data-driven decisions to adapt to market changes quickly.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, Marketing, Product Development, and Brand Management, to align YouTube strategies with broader business objectives.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Present detailed and contextualized reports on channel performance, growth strategies, and key insights to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on objectives.
- Competitive Strategy
- Continuously monitor and analyze competitor channels and other market trends, using insights to refine Hasbro's channel management and creative strategies, ensuring we maintain a competitive edge.
- Stay Updated
- Keep up-to-date with the latest YouTube trends, algorithms, and best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ Years of Proven Experience
- Extensive experience managing large-scale YouTube channels, with a strong understanding of YouTube's platform, algorithms, and best practices and a demonstrated ability to grow and maintain successful brand channels.
- Advanced Technical Skills
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and other relevant tools; deep understanding of all YouTube features, including advanced analytics and Tubular Labs.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinker
- Strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset, capable of interpreting complex data sets and translating them into simple actionable growth strategies.
- Creative and Innovative Mindset
- Willingness to learn and embrace new ideas.
- Proactive & Adaptable
- Highly proactive, with the ability to balance multiple priorities, lead under pressure, and adapt quickly to changes in the digital landscape.
- Multilingual Advantage
- Proficiency in another language is preferred but not required, enhancing the ability to manage channels in multiple regions.
