Job Overview

We're seeking a seasoned YouTube expert to support and scale up our in-house channels, with a potential fourth channel on the horizon. This is a part-time freelance position, ideally 3 days a week, but we're open to flexible arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive YouTube strategy to boost channel growth, engagement, and viewership.
  • Oversee multiple YouTube channels, expanding their reach and brand awareness.
  • Manage audience and community interactions, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Analyze data and metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement a content strategy and calendar, optimizing content for better search and discovery.
  • Publish new videos, create upload strategies, and oversee thumbnail creation, keywording, and copy.
  • Monitor and enforce community guidelines and policies.
  • Assist in building the channel tone and identity.
  • Oversee SEO and metadata.
  • Ideate relevant content in line with current trends, collaborating with creative teams.
  • Identify and implement social media strategies.
  • Develop project management processes and build KPIs for social channels.
Requirements
  • Experience in managing brand identities and YouTube channels.
  • Proven track record of growing YouTube channels.
  • Understanding of YouTube algorithms and video marketing strategies.
  • Experience with influencer marketing and paid advertising.
  • Collaboration with video and social teams.
  • Strong communication skills.
