Rail Operations Leader

TXM Recruit is recruiting an experienced Operations Manager to lead a designated group of drivers and contribute to the delivery of day-to-day UK rail operations. This challenging role requires strong leadership skills, with a focus on employee engagement, safety, and performance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing individual performance reviews, apprenticeships, briefings, welfare, disciplinary matters, and grievance procedures. You will also be expected to undertake risk assessments, investigations using Root Cause Analysis, and provide concise, factual-based reports to laid-down standards.
Requirements- Able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance;
- Competent to undertake risk assessments and investigations;
- Diligent and self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and effective people management skills;
- Hold a full UK driving licence and ability to cope with occasional out-of-hours working requirements.
Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits, including pension scheme, health insurance, and flexible working arrangements.
