Senior Clinical Lead for Stroke Services

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Clinical Lead to join our team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a key member of our stroke services, you will be responsible for driving innovation and delivering high-quality patient care.
As a Senior Clinical Lead, you will provide strategic leadership in the development of stroke services, working closely with our Kent and Medway Stroke Network partners. You will also play a crucial role in coordinating the Integrated Service Delivery Network (ISDN) for Stroke, ensuring effective pathways for patients and consistent care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing operational and strategic leadership in stroke services
- Coordinating ISDN for Stroke and developing effective pathways for patients
- Delivering the Kent and Medway stroke strategy and achieving key results in clinical quality and governance assurance, audit and research, recruitment and retention, and service development

RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- Extensive postgraduate experience in stroke services
- Clinical leadership skills and expertise in managing programmes of care
- Knowledge of the wider NHS, including community, CCG, ICS, and social services
- Teaching and presentation skills at postgraduate level
- A proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and lead change initiatives
