Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated mental health professional to join our established Medway Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) in North Kent. As a Senior Mental Health Clinical Lead, you will play a vital role in providing specialist mental health advice and education to staff within the team.
This is an exciting opportunity for nurses wanting to make a difference in clinical care by setting, monitoring, and maintaining quality standards of care. You will lead by example, provide clinical guidance, and support your colleagues, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Main Duties:
- Lead by Example: Provide expert clinical leadership to nurses within the CMHT, promoting best practices and evidence-based care.
- Champion Quality Care: Work closely with senior nursing staff to ensure high-quality clinical practices are implemented across the service.
- Advocate for Your Team: Be a voice for nurses, addressing concerns and ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed.
- Share Your Expertise: Stay up-to-date on best practices in mental health and mentor colleagues through training and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure Seamless Service: Collaborate with the wider team to assess client needs and ensure placement in the most appropriate program.
- Optimize Service Flow: Identify areas for improvement and work collaboratively to streamline the client journey.
- Provide Direct Care: Maintain a small caseload of clients with complex needs, offering personalized clinical support.
Requirements:
- Strong clinical expertise in mental health nursing (registration required)

Salary: £43,041 - £51,411 per annum
Location: North Kent
