Position Overview:
As a key member of the site management team, you will oversee a significant new construction project, ensuring its successful execution and adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and manage long-term, mid-term, and short-term work schedules.
- Collaborate with the design team to refine project specifications.
- Mentor and guide Assistant Site Managers in their roles.
- Uphold and enforce health and safety regulations on-site.
- Review and approve method statements and risk assessments (RAMS).
- Coordinate the logistics of material deliveries and waste management.
- Conduct quality control inspections and implement test plans.
- Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with the schedule.
- Facilitate regular communication with end users, including school administration.
- Organize coordination meetings with subcontractors and other site managers.
- Provide regular updates on project status and address any issues that arise.
- Manage snagging processes and ensure smooth project handover.

The contractor operates as a dynamic regional office within a larger main contractor group, boasting an impressive annual turnover and a strong history of delivering both large and medium-sized construction and refurbishment projects across various sectors.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be proactive and highly motivated, showcasing exceptional technical, organizational, and communication skills. A proven history of working with a reputable main contractor is advantageous. Experience in live operational environments is preferred, given the nature of the project.

Applicants should ideally possess a background in trades, construction management, or engineering, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is beneficial but not mandatory based on relevant experience.

This role is suited for an ambitious individual seeking to solidify their position within a large site team and advance towards a Project Manager role in the future. Candidates must hold SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.
