About Your Role

As a Nursery Manager, you will lead our nursery teams to deliver exceptional care and education to all children, driving quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with Recruitment and HR to ensure the nursery is fully staffed, promoting diversity and inclusivity.

Bright Horizons Lancaster Day Nursery and Preschool is an outstanding setting located in Lancaster, LA1 4RP, with excellent transport links and parking on site. Our nursery provides a safe and stimulating environment for children, with a focus on quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Your Qualifications and Experience

  • Fully qualified Level 3 or above in Early Years (essential)
  • Proven experience in Early Years leadership roles, preferably as a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar
  • Experience participating in regulatory inspections resulting in 'Good' or 'Outstanding' outcomes
  • Strong decision-maker with ability to drive change and navigate complex relationships between business/commerce and regulated settings
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues, parents, and external partners
