About the RoleThis is a home-based, virtual role where you will work autonomously within our team to provide assessment, diagnosis, and pharmacological management of patients.
Main Duties- We need a clinician with passion, enthusiasm, and dedication to deliver patient-centred care.
- You should have demonstrable experience within a similar role and a good understanding of NICE guideline (NG87) and quality standards (QS39) for ADHD in adults.
- The ideal candidate will be confident in working autonomously and have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council or other appropriate professional body.
- An independent non-medical prescriber status is also essential.
- You will undertake assessments for the purpose of ascertaining whether a patient meets the criteria for a diagnosis of ADHD.
- You will formulate a management plan for our patients, including treatment pathway, follow-up and review, discharge, and onward referral, as necessary.
- Actively promoting self-care and health strategies to empower the patient, taking a holistic and person-centred approach.
- You will identify and appropriately refer patients to external agencies and services.
- You will record in a timely manner a true and accurate record of the information and advice given, and generate an electronic record.
