Mental Health Therapist Lead

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic Qualified CBT Therapist or Clinical Psychologist to join the new Specialist Mental Health Support Team (MHST) in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
About the MHSTThe MHST forms part of the Early Help provision within Hampshire CAMHS, working closely with the existing Primary Mental Health Service and other MHSTs in the region. The team's goal is to improve mental health and emotional wellbeing among Autistic Children and young people with or without a learning disability.
The postholder will lead the low-intensity and high-intensity clinicians within the MHST, providing evidence-based interventions, assessments, and support within education settings. You will also help children and young people within these settings who present with more severe problems to rapidly access more specialist services.
As part of our team, you will receive regular supervision and opportunities to link with other specialist practitioners in the trust, as well as access internal training opportunities.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people in education settings with mild to moderate mental health problems and additional needs.
- Help children and young people within these settings who present with more severe problems to rapidly access more specialist services.
- Support and facilitate staff in education settings to identify and where appropriate manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing.
- Work with and within education environments to afford better access to specialist mental health services.
- Provide effective leadership and/or management to staff, promoting high performance standards both individually and as a team.
- Recognised/accredited postgraduate level training in a psychological therapy.
We offer a competitive salary range £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including pension scheme, annual leave entitlement, and access to ongoing professional development.
