About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Management Assistant to join our team at University Partnerships Programme. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our university campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students and office staff, maintaining accurate records of visitors, contractors, and key issues.
  • Assist managers in coordinating on-site activities and day-to-day administration, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Operate a computer-based property management database, monitoring reactive work and planned maintenance in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and completing necessary reports.
  • Conduct regular site walks, reporting any security or safety concerns and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and maintenance standards.
  • Monitor and control out-of-hours access to the residence, adhering to fire, health, and safety procedures and residence instructions.
  • Respond effectively to fire alarm activations and liaise with emergency services as required.
  • Undertake training as necessary and act as the appointed First Aider, if required.
  • Liaise with UPP staff, university clients, sub-contractors, and conference delegates as needed.
  • Monitor student conduct, encouraging reasonable behavior and liaising with student support services, chaplaincy, and other agencies as necessary.
