We are seeking a skilled Fuel Cycle Development Expert to join our team at the National Nuclear Laboratory.

About the Role:

  • As a key member of our Fuel Reactor & Reprocessing capability, you will play a vital role in developing the UK fuel cycle in line with advances in new technology and new processes.
  • You will be responsible for the development of new reactor fuels and associated technologies, working closely with industry partners and government stakeholders.

About You:

  • You have a strong background in materials science and an understanding of nuclear reactors.
  • You are able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
