Job RoleCharacterisation Specialist - Hot Cell Environment
Nuclear Development is a pioneering organization in the field of nuclear energy research and development. We are seeking an experienced Characterisation Specialist to join our team of experts in the Hot Cell Environment. As a Characterisation Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting research and development activities related to nuclear fuel cycles and materials in a hot cell environment.
Main Tasks:
  • Develop and implement new methods for producing high-quality metallographic samples in a hot cell environment.
  • Collaborate with other researchers to develop novel techniques for analyzing nuclear materials in a hot cell environment.
  • Conduct experiments to evaluate the properties of nuclear fuels and materials in a hot cell environment.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports on experimental results.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Participate in workshops and conferences to present research findings and learn from others in the field.

Estimated salary: £50,000 per annum.
