Job Overview
National Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Safety Expert to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about ensuring safety in high-risk environments. As a Nuclear Safety Expert, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety on a nuclear licensed site. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage safety cases, ensuring that operations adhere to strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining safety standards by reviewing and validating safety-related information.
  • Developing and implementing safety cases for operational facilities.
  • Collaborating with experts to identify control measures and substantiate their effectiveness.

Requirements:
  • Degree in a relevant field such as nuclear engineering, physics, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive knowledge of safety case development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to obtain SC level security clearance.

Salary and Benefits:

£58,732 - £76,022 per annum, depending on experience. National Nuclear Laboratory offers a range of benefits, including a pension plan, annual leave, and opportunities for career growth.
