Children's Residential Home Leadership Position

Cpl UK - Healthcare seeks a motivated Residential Care Team Lead to spearhead the provision of outstanding care services in our children's residential home, fostering a supportive environment where young people can thrive.

About the Role:

  • Work alongside the Registered Manager to develop and execute plans that prioritize the well-being and development of young people, adhering to Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
  • Solicit input from staff members and guide them in maintaining high standards of care and professional practice.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive staff training programs, emphasizing excellence and ongoing improvement.
  • Partner with external professionals, including social workers and schools, to craft and implement individualized care plans.
  • Accurately document all interactions, participate in regular care reviews, and facilitate necessary referrals to external organizations.
  • Oversee daily operations within the home, upholding stringent health and safety guidelines.
  • Take an active part in recruitment, induction, and staff management initiatives to ensure adequate staffing levels.

Key Qualifications:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Children's Residential Care (willingness to work towards Level 5 preferred).
  • Substantial experience in children's residential care, coupled with exceptional leadership capabilities.
  • An in-depth understanding of Ofsted requirements and Children's Homes Regulations.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in organizational and communication skills, complemented by a genuine passion for helping young people realize their full potential.

The selected candidate may anticipate a salary between £38,000 and £50,000 annually.
