As a dynamic and data-driven individual, you will be working in our Cancer Centre Multi-Disciplinary Service (MDT) service in the Princess Anne hospital.

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced administrative professional to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our cancer centre MDT service, with a focus on data entry, report writing, and coordination tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy non-patient facing role, with the chance to develop your skills and progress to a band 4 post upon completion of training.

Job Responsibilities:
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent typing and report writing skills, with a precise attention to detail.
  • Experience of dealing with non-routine and complex problems and progress chasing is essential.
  • You will also have knowledge and experience across a range of admin work procedures gained in a healthcare setting.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a good standard of secondary education, with literacy and numeracy skills demonstrable to GSCE pass level or equivalent standard. A diploma-level qualification or equivalent experience is also required. In addition, you should have experience of using Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as previous experience in a coordination role.
