At STERIS, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This part-time role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the office at Rutherford House, Derby, and performing administrative duties mainly for the Accounts Payable department.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors, including the management of passes/parking permits and hospitality requirements.
  • Office maintenance, including health and safety work, coordinating PAT testing, and fire alarm testing.
  • Arranging all stationery orders, including branded materials and business cards for all UK STERIS staff.
  • Administration activities, such as post distribution, filing, storage management, and couriering of documents.
  • Catering for lunch and kitchen supplies, booking and managing meeting rooms, and maintaining a 5S standard.
  • Carrying out security inductions for all new starters, visitors, and contractors at Rutherford House, and maintaining and coordinating key holder allocation for the building.
  • Purchasing office equipment and supplies, including the raising of purchase requisitions and receipting of goods.
  • Maintaining Accounts Payable inbox and forwarding or moving newly received emails to the correct place.
  • Creating and maintaining vendors in Oracle for designated STERIS entities, ensuring compliance to SOX and Group Policy.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a background in a similar customer-facing and supporting role, with excellent organizational and communication skills. They will be a team player who is motivated by being part of a team and supporting their colleagues.
