About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced General Manager to join our team at the Holiday Inn Darlington A1 Scotch Corner. The successful candidate will oversee 91 bedrooms, a recently renovated open lobby, and the Active Life Leisure Club, catering to over ??? members. Additionally, they'll manage meeting and event spaces, which can accommodate 6 to 350 delegates across 8 different rooms.

Our General Managers are supported and empowered to take responsibility for every aspect of their hotel – team engagement, the service that wows our guests, and the engine that drives commercial success. They:

  • Establish clear performance goals and inspire, lead, and coach the team to deliver the winning formula.
  • Strive for operational excellence in everything they do.
  • Drive the highest standards of safety for our guests and the team.
  • Embed and bring to life our tools relating to but not limited to Operations, Health & Safety, HR & Training, Sales, Marketing, and Revenue.
