Leading Consultant in Geriatric Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Care of the Elderly to join our successful department at Triple West Medical. Located in an area offering the best of both worlds, with excellent transport links to London and a beautiful East of England location.
Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant in Care of the Elderly to contribute to the development of innovative processes of care for our patient population. You will be responsible for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of illness, as well as fulfilling various duties such as out-of-hours responsibilities and supporting the development of our Flagship Frailty Pathway.
Key Responsibilities- Prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of illness, ensuring proper functioning of the department.
- Out-of-hours responsibilities, including participation in Consultant on-call rota where applicable.
- Working across a range of clinical settings, including core Medicine for the Elderly wards and the Frailty and Acute Medicine for the Elderly unit.
- Supporting the development of our Flagship Frailty Pathway, expansion of our specialist Ambulatory Care Service, and intensification of front-door CGA.
To succeed in this role, you must have GMC Registration and strong skills in geriatric medicine. Our client's location provides high-quality housing, schools, and transport links to London, making it an attractive place to live and work.
